The Windsor/North Central League of Women Voters have scheduled their annual Meet the Candidates night on Sunday October 26, 2008 at 7:00pm in the Windsor Town Hall Council Chambers.  The public is invited to attend and ask questions of State Senate and House candidates.  The League will also publish a Voters Guide with Candidate background information and responses to three questions of vital interest to all voters. In addition to the recent voter registration held during Northwest Park Fair, the League will conduct other voter registration sessions at the High School and local businesses. This would be a great opportunity for those that are interested in the League, to join us for an enthusiastic, informative, and enjoyable time.  If you wish to participate in any of the activities, please contact Marilyn at 688-6987 or our president Roseanne Lombardo at 688-5052.

The Windsor/North Central League of Women Voters is sponsoring a Legislative Dialogue on Tuesday, March 31 in the Town Council Chambers at Windsor Town Hall from 7:00 – 9:00pm.  Peggy Sayers, Eric Coleman, John Kissel and Matthew Conway, Jr. are invited to participate, as well as the new legislator for the 15th House district.

The members of Congress will discuss priorities for this legislative session, and their interests and activities in representing Windsor and other towns in their district.  This Dialogue is open to the public and will offer opportunity to hear about important state and local issues.
