Several Leagues have membership in more than one C.D. & appear on 2
or 3 lists.
(League) = a
minimal part of that League’s membership lives within that C.D.
underlined
League
= all of that League’s membership lives within that C.D.
The above list reflects the new, redistricted configuration
for your use in planning Congressional Candidate Debates/Forums. Refer to the
attached “Towns As Districted For Election Purposes” list and to district
maps (sent in a previous Board Report and
found online via our Web site: lwvct.org) to locate your new state election
districts.
Then, communicate with the other Leagues that share districts with
you to co-sponsor debates/forums at all three levels. (Start with names & phone numbers in your League Directory:
expect some changes in personnel to have occurred.)
Use LWVCT Candidate Criteria to determine which candidates should be
included in a shared event. Line up a moderator trusted to appear and be
nonpartisan! Keep the state office informed of your plans-in-progress,
especially event dates.
