We will meet to discuss the important Concurrence Statements on Emerging Media and Internet Issues presented in the January Issue of the Voter from LWV CT.  The concurrence statements concern Internet Neutrality; Universal Access for Connecticut, and Community Access TV and Public Affairs Programming.

Directions to Quinnipiac University

From Providence and east, via I-95: Take I-95 to New Haven. Then take I-91 north to Exit To (Route 40). Follow Route 4o approximately 3 miles to its end (at Whitney Avenue). Turn right onto Whitney Avenue (Route 10) and proceed north for 1.4 miles. Turn right onto Mount Carmel Avenue and go 0.3 miles to campus.

From New York City and west, via I-95: Take I-95 to New Haven. Then take 1-91 north to Exit 10 (Route 40). Follow Route 40 approximately 3 miles to its end (at Whitney Avenue). Turn right onto Whitney Avenue (Route 10) and proceed north for 1.4 miles. Turn right onto Mount Carmel Avenue and go 0.3 miles to campus.

From New York City and west, via the Merritt/Wilbur Cross Parkway: Take the Parkway (Rte. 15) to Exit 61. Turn right onto Whitney Ave. (Rte. 10) and proceed north three miles to Mount Carmel Ave. Turn right onto Mount Carmel Ave. and go 0.3 miles to campus.

From Hartford and east, via the Wilbur Cross (Merritt) Parkway: Take the Parkway (Rte. 15) to Exit 62. Turn right onto Whitney Ave. (Rte. 10) and proceed north three miles to Mount Carmel Ave. Turn right onto Mount Carmel Ave and go 0.3 miles to campus.

From Hartford, Boston, and Upper New England via I-91 Take 1-91 south to Exit lo, (Route 40). Follow Route 4o approximately 3 miles to its end (at Whitney Ave.) Turn right onto Whitney Ave. (Route 10) and proceed north for 1.4 miles. Turn right onto Mount Carmel Avenue and go 0.3 miles to campus.

From western Connecticut and upper New York. State, via 1-84: Take 1-84 to Exit 26. At end of exit, bear right on Route 70 toward Cheshire. Continue on Route 70 to Route 10. Turn right on Route 1o and go about 7 miles to Mr. Carmel Avenue: Turn left onto Mount Carmel Avenue and go 0.3 miles to campus. 

To get to the Alumni Hall in the Carl Hansen Student Center: Take the right at the main entrance off Mount Carmel Avenue, which is marked and has a guardhouse; a guard will be there to help. Plan to arrive by 8:00 am.: if there is parking in the main lot, you may park there. Otherwise, the gate guard will give you specific instructions as to where you can park if the lot has filled up. Park as directed; if in the main lot, as far from the street (as close to the center of campus) as possible, and walk as straight as possible towards the main academic quad.
