Portions of Cheshire are now in either the 16^th or 13^th Connecticut Senate Districts.

The 13^th District includes Meriden, Middlefield and portions of Cheshire and Middletown.

The 16^th Senate District includes Wolcott, Southington and portions of Cheshire and Waterbury.
