"How to Watch a Debate” : hands-on introduction to a program which can increase LWV visibility in your community and empower voters
Updates: new e-device policy, clarification regarding IRS, FCC and FEC rules governing debates.

Update re outcome of 2012 Legislative session
“From LWV Study to Historic State Law: Anatomy of the Repeal of the Death Penalty" How does the League make a public policy difference? Learn how via our most recent historic success!
12:00 -12:15 Recognition of 50-year members, outgoing Board members, incoming Board and Off-Board members
12:15 - 12:30 Closing Remarks and Adjourn
12:30 Optional Lunch for those attending LWVUS Convention and/or interested in Convention issues
Each League is entitled to two (2) voting delegates; MAL Units are entitled to one (1) delegate each. Any League or MAL Unit may send as many observers is it would like; Leagues that have not filled their delegate count may authorize such observers to act as their delegates. Cost for the first attendee from each League or MAL Unit will be $32; all other attendees from your League or Unit will be charged $30 each. There will be a separate charge of $17 for the optional lunch for those who wish to stay, whether or not they attend the pre-Convention lunch-time workshop.
