The League of Women Voters of Connecticut urges you to support strong health care reform legislation that guarantees quality, safe and affordable health care to all Americans, including the choice of a public insurance plan. 

 

The League believes that H.R. 3200, America’s Affordable Health Choices Act, is a strong and comprehensive bill and deserves your strong backing.   The public option will make it possible for Americans who cannot obtain coverage through traditional employer-sponsored plans to find health insurance at a reasonable price.

 

The LWVCT’s more that 2,100 members hope that you agree that our health care is too important to be left only to private insurance companies.  Please demonstrate real leadership and vote for comprehensive health care reform, including the public insurance option.
