Symposium on International Relations: A Retrospective

In 1969, when the League of Women Voters of Connecticut and Yale University began their co-sponsorship of our annual “SIR,” the letters stood for “School of International Relations.”  Today, under the aegis of the LWVCT Education Fund, the MacMillan Center for International and Area Studies at Yale University, and the Albert Schweitzer Institute at Quinnipiac University, they stand for “Symposium on International Relations.”
