- September 1: Bridgeport mayoral candidates’ pre-primary debate, co-sponsored with Proyecto Nueva Vida

- Monroe first selectman candidates’ debate at Masuk High School on Thursday, October 20, at 7:30 p.m.
- Trumbull first selectman candidates’ debate forum at Frenchtown Road School on Thursday, October 20, at 6:30 p.m., co-sponsored with Trumbull PTA Council
- Trumbull charter revision forum at Frenchtown Road School on Monday, October 24, at 7:00 p.m., co-sponsored with Trumbull PTA Council

- Bridgeport mayoral debate at Housatonic Community College on Thursday, October 27, at 5:00 p.m., co-sponsored with Housatonic Community College Women’s Center
- Candidates’ Open House on November 2nd at 7:00 at the Brookfield Library. All municipal candidates are invited to attend and have an opportunity to be introduced to the community. Moderator: Aaron Boyd, Editor Brookfield Patch. Light refreshments will be served. The Voters’ Guide will be available for distribution that evening.
- Candidates’ Night is on Tuesday October 18, 2011, at the Canton High School auditorium from 7:00 to 9:30 pm. Candidates will be from the Board of Selectman, Board of Finance, and Board of Education.
LWV Cheshire/Wallingford
- Candidates’ forum on the evening of Wednesday, October 19, 2011, from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the Council Cambers of the Cheshire Town Hall. The forum will have a “cumulative time” format with the participation of candidates of district 1-4 and candidates at large for five seats. Ellen Andrews, PhD, will be the moderator. The forum will be taped for local television and various newspapers are invited to report on the event. Refreshments will be served.
LWV Darien
- Debate starts at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, October 25, at Auditorium, Darien Town Hall, 2 Renshaw Road, Darien. The schedule will be as follows: 6:00-7:00 p.m. debate for Board of Ed and Board of Finance candidates; 7:00-7:30 p.m. Lobby Reception; 7:30-9:00 p.m. debate for Board of Selectmen and First Selectman candidates.

- Hamden Candidates’ Mayoral Debate 2011 will have a focus on open space and sustainability in the town. Tuesday, October 18th, 2011, from 7:00-9:00 p.m. at Thornton Wilder Hall, Miller Cultural Complex, 2901 Dixwell Ave., Hamden. The candidates are Mayor Scott Jackson(D), Atty. The event will host candidates in two segments: first for the Town Council and second for the Board of Education. The forum is held at the Windsor Town Hall in the Town Council Chambers.
