LWV East Shore
LWV-East Shore and BCTV will co-sponsor an in-studio debate for the two candidates for the 102nd Assembly District: Lonnie Reed, Democrat incumbent & Lori Nicholson, Republican challenger. LWVES member Nancy Bassett will moderate, with a panel of media personnel from the New Haven Register, Shoreline Publishing (Branford Sound), and the Branford Eagle asking questions. The debate will be broadcast regularly after that date on a BCTV channel.
The 99th CT Assembly District (East Haven) candidates, James Albis and Craig Cubellotti, will participate in a debate in the Branford Community TV studio on Wed., Oct. 24. This event is co-produced by the LWV-East Shore and BCTV for broadcast by ETV (East Haven's public access provider). Moderator Carol Reimers, a Killingworth resident and LWVES member, will pose League-devised questions to the candidates.
The 101st CT Assembly District candidates, Noreen Kokoruda and David Dwyer, will participate in a debate in the Guilford Community TV studio on Thurs., Oct. 25. This program will be co-produced by the LWV-East Shore and GCTV for broadcast by Durham's and Madison's public access providers. Moderator Elise Low, LWVES Voter Service Chair and Guilford resident, will present the League's questions to the candidates. LWVES President Brooks Low will assist in the production as a member of the GCTV crew.

The pre-primary debate between Democrats John Flanagan and Michael D’Agostino was held Thursday, July 26, at 7:45 p.m., in the Cultural Arts Center on the 1st floor of the south (new) building at Whitney Center, 200 Leeder Hill Drive in Hamden. The debate was free and open to the public. Parking is on the upper level of the Whitney Center parking garage.
