On behalf of the League of Women Voters of Connecticut, I urge you to oppose legislation that will block or prevent action to clean up our air. Legislation has been passed by the House of Representatives that  prevents enforcement of pollution standards by the Environmental Protection Agency. The Senate is expected to consider that legislation.

For decades the EPA has protected the health of citizens from dangerous pollutants through the Clean Air Act. Please do not let these protections be eliminated.
